Welcome to The Sussex.

The Sussex has long been a part of the food culture of Emsworth. During that time it has seen the village of Emsworth grow from being a major oyster and fishing centre on the South Coast to what it is now, a picturesque village and harbour with a reputation for being a major food destination, celebrated each September with its famous Food Festival.

While still managing to maintain the traditional values of a proper Inn with its real ales, open fires and saw dust covered floors, The Sussex has recently refurbished its two dining rooms.

The menus concentrate on fresh, local produce as well as offering a range of award winning sausages, all cooked and presented with the emphasis on flavour and simplicity.
